This was the first involvement to the games console community that Nintendo made and was known as one of the best-selling game of its time. One of its most famous and bestselling games was Pac-Man and this was proved by selling 7 million copies of the game. It was named the second best video console of all time by IGN. It followed the Fairchild Channel F by using microprocessor hardware rather than dedicated hardware.

This game is part of the second generation of games consoles and it came out in September 1977. Therefore there wasn’t many games that came out on the console. It worked on your television but it didn’t do too well sales wise due to poor marketing by the company. The console used cartridges to play their games which were quick to load the games up and was very sturdy things that were hard to physically break. The Magnavox Odyssey is the first video game console that was made available so that you could have it in your own home and it was released in August of 1972.
